About T Levels

T Levels are new, two-year technical programmes available in selected further education providers from September 2020. They are designed to prepare students for entry into skilled employment, or higher-level study. In 2018, the ETF was chosen to develop and deliver the T Level Professional Development offer for providers confirmed to deliver T Levels from 2020/21 and we are very proud to have now been selected to continue providing this professional development offer until at least July 2024.

The aim of the offer is to ensure that further education and post-16 providers are T Level ready. This means ensuring that their workforce has the teaching skills, subject knowledge and confidence needed to deliver a high-quality T Level programme from the outset.

The flexible offer is shaped around the needs of providers and their workforce alongside relevant regional, employer and curriculum needs.

This means that we are recruiting a number of roles to make sure that those professionals teaching the new courses are excellently equipped to do so from the very first day learners walk through the doors of a classroom or workshop.

Information about the current offer can be found on our website.
